The Emigrant Lake Outdoor Center build is estimated at $3.5 million. Once completed and fully operational, it will be entirely self-sufficient from revenues generated through use of the facility.
Rogue Rowing has formed both a Building Committee comprised of staff and community professionals who will oversee the process of creation and construction of the Outdoor Center, along with the financial stewardship, moving the project to completion. The Committee will consider phasing the project, sectioning it into several stages. The projected cost may be reduced depending on the level of support and grants from federal, state and local sources.
Current financial calculations suggest that, once operational, the Outdoor Center is slated to produce more than $1 million in annual direct income and will bring an additional $2.75 million in new money annually to the Rogue Valley.
